This weekend was kinda colorful, haha!

       Friday afternoon, Rice called me all of a sudden saying she wanted to go to Sacramento to get piercing! We both think about it for long but only with passion, without courage! Finally she had 2 things at the same time, so without hesination, we got on the bus and left for the capital. It took one hour!!!

       When arrived the earring`s shop, we still felt a little unsafe to do it, so 2 inquisitive kids kept asking questions, such as: will my ears become out of shape? will I turn sick? Will it bleed after piercing? blar blar, the shop assistant may lost her patience, I guess, but anyway, we came from so far, so DO IT!!!

       One paif of studs, with a bottle of 473ml solution, 22 something dollar, a little expensive, but she has a licence, and we feel safer to do it there. See the picture I uploaded, do they look nice? hehe.

       After back to Davis, we went to a Chinese restaurant called Silver Dragon. So tasty~~~ Chinese food is the best! You never get rid of it!!! This is cuisine! The food in the on-campus restaurant are all bullshit!!!!!!!!

       Saturday dinner with Rice and Paolo, Paolo is going back to Italy on Monday, how time flies~I can still remember our trip to Yosemite! I begin to imagine how I may feel when I am leaving the U.S..I know I am gonna miss the pretty campus and my new friends there, it`s only one year, but many beautiful memories.

       Saturday, chatting with my honeys Crista and Cancan through MSN by voice clip, so nice to hear their voice! Although we keep in touch by email so often and every time begin with" honey" " sweetheart" or "baby", it still feels so sweet to hear them. I kept telling my roomate 我好挂住佢地啊，想返香港呀！

　　　Hea 佐两天啦，下周仲有两个MIDTERM，听日要去LIB啦！

相伴。平凡。

 在路途上想起爱情来。觉得最好的爱情是两个人彼此做个伴。
 不要束缚，不要缠绕，不要占有，不要渴望从对方的身上挖掘到意义，那是注定要落空的东西。而应该是，我们两个人，并排站在一起，看看这个落寞的人间。
 有两个独立的房间，各自在房间里工作。
 一起找小餐馆吃晚饭。
 散步的时候能够有很多话说。
 拥抱在一起的时候觉得安全。

 不干涉对方的任何自由。哪怕他还在和旧日女友联络。
 不对彼此表白。表白是变相的索取。
 很平淡。很熟悉。好像他的气味就是你自己身上的气味。
 不管在何时何地，都要留给彼此距离。

 随时可以离开。
 想安静的时候，即使他在身边，也像是自己一个人。
 有一致的生活品味。包括衣服，唱片，香水，食物等等。
 不太会想起对方，但累的时候，知道他就是家。

 我们很容易碰到的，都是自私或者愚蠢的人。他们爱别人，只是为了证明别人能够爱自己。或者抓在手里不肯放，直到手里的东西死去。

 成熟的感情都需要付出时间去等待它的果实。但是我们一直欠缺耐心。有谁会用10年的时间去等一个远行的人。有谁会在10年的远行之后，依然想回头找到那个人。有些爱情因为太急于要得到它的功利，无法被证明，于是也就得不到成立。

      I went for snowboarding today with my roomate and her nice friend, who is currently working in Silicon Valley.

 

 

Everything is fine, just busy.       I dropped one course finally, but it seems that 4 courses are even busier than last quarter because they are getting harder and include lots of calculation,which is the last thing I am good at.       My financial economics` prof and econometric`s prof are a couple! This is my first time to meet this kind of situation, but I didn`t feel anything special until yesterday. Fin Econ`s prof(husband) was ill, so his wife, who is my econometric`s prof filled in him and thus showed up in the class. haha, interesting! Maybe next time i will see the Mr. in my econometric`s lecture if the mother need to take care of their sick kid! Do you guys see the point? how important it is to find a person who has same occupation as you as a partner!!! It reminds of my parents, they are both engineers, and when my mother is too busy with her project and forced to stay up till late, my dad can share her burder coz they are working in the same field.        And I practised bowling too hard today and my fingures hurt now! By the way, i am taking bowling PE class this quarter, so much fun! 2 hours per week, P/NP.        I`ve got a hku school mate as my roomate this quarter, good for me, i speak more cantonese now every day and realize that I still have lots of words i don`t know how to express in cantonese. so when hk locals speak their language mixed with english due to their habit or just take it as a cool thing, i do that because i forget the word! anyway, i am a big fan of language study and feel happy i still have chance to keep practice for cantonese.        I feel like I am losing some weight recently coz i kick the bad habit of crunching snacks after 10ppm! Yeah! Congratulatons to myself!

 

　　　新QUARTER又开始了，我不得不又开始感叹QUARTER制度的快和忙了。

　　

    我可爱的老爸给我写了封老长老长的信，看得我直想笑，贴出来和大家分享，其实是爸爸一贯的论调。

    注：爸爸别生气，我是觉得你字字如金才贴出来让别人拜读一下。另外我的小名叫豆豆，限家人使用。

“小豆豆：

虽然刚刚通过“SPYE”，但放假在家爸爸妈妈还是想你。你去美国几个月，期盼与你“SPYE”、MSN成了我们生活乐章中一个重要音符，也是对我们生活的一个调节和点缀。每天到家爸爸妈妈几乎第一交流话题就是小豆豆的邮件，就是打开电脑、打开MSN、SPYE，边吃饭边议你的邮件、议你的生活、议你的喜怒哀乐。看似无聊，可我们却从中获得慰藉，缓解了对你的思念，获得了乐趣，也加深了爸爸妈妈彼此的沟通、浓缩了情感，我们感受到一种特殊的快乐！你虽然人在万里之遥，但网络缩短了我们的距离。我们依然时时分享你的喜怒哀乐。

新年伊始我们有些嘱咐，可能是多余的，但我们还是想提醒你：

我们发现社会上不少人才是出自学习外语专业的，资讯的迅猛发展决定了与人沟通的重要性。一个人再有才华，如果无法用语言表达，则只好空留满肚经纶。语言方面一直是你长项，希望你能在这方面继续努力，更好常握英语、提高日语水平，注意语言和笔头表达能力。我们相信语言的长项会使你收益终身的。

注意日常人脉关系的积累，社会化的分工离不开人们之间的相互合作。你性格开朗、为人热情、不自私，一向人缘不错，所以遇事多得贵人相助。KPMG实习、UCD的交流、华盛顿的实习等事你的表现很让我们欣慰，虽然今后是否还来美国学习现在不明确，但你还应培养些有用的人脉关系，以备今后所需。希望这方面自己能善于总结，积累更多得经验。港大和UCD的师生人群为你提供一个现实和潜在的优质人脉资源，我们相信合理开发利用也会使你收益终身的。

注意综合素质提高，加强遇事处理能力、特别是对突发事件的应变处理能力。送你到港大、到UC、到华盛顿，鼓励你在美国多走动，我们的意图就是盼你多见多识广、视野开阔，今后处事能更周全、思路更开阔。我们很羡慕CCTV绝对挑战和节目主持人选拔赛中的优胜者的表现出的应变能力，当然依你的年龄目前的经历应是不错的，对你目前处理一些事的能力我们也是很满意、很欣慰的。

还应注意现在社会对亲和力和团队能力要求较高，甚至超过对自身专业的要求，毕竟三个和尚能抵一个诸葛亮啊！对友人应适当豁达、大方些，有时吃些小亏也不必太在意，应着眼大处、着眼未来。自己兴趣可以培养更广泛些，说、唱、跳、体育等项目最好都会一点，这样便于融入团队，增强沟通。周末有空PARTY也可以去揍个热闹。

一人在外安全一定注意，这是我们最大的牵挂。凡刚到一个生疏地方一定要多看少动，人员密集处往往是恐怖主义感兴趣的地方，应有意识适当拉开距离，回辟风险。对生人应留点心，凡事应多个心眼。对自己的体重应有所控制，这既是健康的要求，也是美的需要。女孩子保持适当的体形还是必要的！既不要乱节食，也不要暴食暴饮，生活尽量养成规律。水果、蔬菜、水分及时补充，尽可能不熬夜。

有没遇上各方面优秀、让我们豆豆心动的异性同学？昨天不是说个话头了吗！去港大前我们就“授权”于你：大学期间这方面可以展开工作，不必刻意封闭自己，遇上合适的可以接触、了解，甚至可以动些脑筋主动、婉转进攻，当然要注意把握好尺度！对这事态度既要认真、积极，又要慎重、严肃、不操之过急；既要相信命运、缘分，又要努力进取。如今社会上似乎真的阴盛阳衰，过了最佳择偶期后得优秀男生少了些！不过我们不希望你今后选择“老外”，毕竟文化、习惯、风俗差异大，厮守终身还是存在诸多问题。我们不是担心你找不到男朋友而催你匆忙交友，只是提醒你平时做个有心人，留意周边的优秀男生，争取学习、朋友两得意。此事一旦有任何蛛丝马迹还望及时上报，我们可是你最好的参谋！与异性来往一定要注意“度”，保护好自己，切忌！！！

对与自己的这专业相关的事和人平时也应更多地关心，尽量学以致用。今年国内股市非常红火，大盘指数长了１００％，部分股翻了几倍，基金几乎均上涨５０～１００％。我们熊市思维没改变，没能赚到更多钱，大致赚到１０％，也比存银行强许多，加上人民币升值也算一个不错的年景吧！注意外头报端对中国明年经济和股市的预期，回头告诉我们，国内股评家可是牛声不断啊！想过去的06股年，我们对自己的操作有所感悟。因为恐惧、因为自大、因为过于求稳种种种种，我们错过了太多太多的行情。展望07年中国股市新的画卷就要展开，大盘开始新的征程，希望我们能有更好的规划，能从股市能获得更好的收获！小豆豆也祝福我们吧！

上述嘱咐并不说明我们对你不放心，或认为你做不好，只是出于父母的本能而再罗嗦几句。我们为拥有你而感满足、而感骄傲！爸爸妈妈在新年谢谢你了！
